We’re the Russells—welcome to Swiss Mountain Farms!

Tucked away in the rolling hills of Central New York, our family farm has grown from a small 50-tap hobby in 2022 to nearly 4,000 taps today. We produce pure maple syrup and a variety of sweet creations, including maple sugar, cream, candies, and maple floss. Inspired by our Swiss Mountain dogs, Grant and Ernie, our farm reflects the same strength, sweetness, and spirit they embody.
Carrying forward a family legacy that began generations ago, we take pride in crafting every drop of syrup with care, tradition, and love—sharing the simple sweetness of nature, one bottle at a time.
Each drop of syrup begins in our sugar bush, a place steeped in history and tradition. What started as a small stand of maples first tapped by a relative in the early 1900s has grown into the heart of our production. Honoring that legacy, we blend time-honored techniques with modern innovation to transform sap into pure, golden syrup.
